More recently I've been preparing myself for summer, that means no more layers, jackets, long sleeves, or pants. However we have one dilemma! I'm obsessed with black and white which means the sun is going to keep beaming on me as if I'm an ant under a magnifying glass, "Yikes!!!" With all that said I'm slowly switching up my color palettes from a monochrome aesthetic to a more vibrant, light, and neutral color base. This includes pastels, light shades of brown , olive, burgundy, and so forth.
Without further ado let's get into the outfit! My ensemble today was inspired by these olive green Adidas Campus 2's. I really love the silhouette of this shoe, and how the faded out olive green helps the outfit pop! I want to give a huge shout out to Dead Studios for making this lookbook collaboration possible, they have amazing pieces for affordable prices so make sure you check them out! As for my hat I'm wearing their Dead Space Snapback. I love the font choice they've selected and how much space they left in between each letter which I thought was a really great choice. Here's something you won't be able to tell from the picture but my Vintage Studios tee actually has mini holes in it, which I thought was a brilliant idea. Details Details Details! The "STUDIOS" font is printed so that the letters look as if they're actually cracking so with every wash and wear your T-shirt becomes more personalized as a vintage "band tee" would. Those hot summer days would not be complete without my jean shorts that come to a raw edge cut! Praise The Lord! Once I've worn these enough I'd probably go in and lightly distress these shorts to keep with the consistency of the vintage T-shirt. You know it's never a good idea to walk out of the house on a hot summer day without sunglasses. So thank you to Zero UV for always blocking out the sun for me!
This concludes my OOTD #1 please stay tuned for the other 2 and the full cookbook video!
